Having served as a navigation officer in the Royal Navy and completed an undergraduate degree in business and an MBA, Ed spent 4 years in a global American pharmaceutical company. The product development, sales and marketing equipped him well to start his first horticultural business in 2003. He has been building, leading and investing in plant companies and new genetics ever since.

Ed travels extensively around the world to see Customers, Suppliers, Breeders and to explore new opportunities.  He is also a shareholder in Valin Genetics.
