Neil Alcock

Based in North Wales horticulturalist Neil Alcock is a grower of 40 years’ experience. Specialising in propagation, Neil and his team at Seiont Nurseries produce several Pinnacle Plants exclusives amongst which is the URBAFLORA® range. A growing range bred or selected for landscape performance raised by cuttings or weaned by Neil from our stage 3 tissue culture. Grafted trees are produced on our Stourbank Nursery site. The entire range is then finished by our exclusive European partner Greenwood Plants in specifications suitable for the landscape industry. Neil is very much involved with us, and the collective of breeders and experts, working on URBAFLORA®. He adds his production expertise and plantsmanship to the trial, selection and commercialisation of a range curated to tackle urban challenges such as pollution, drought, and flooding.

Neil, who is Managing Director of Seiont Nurseries says-

‘I have always had a keen interest in plant propagation, particularly in ornamental shrubs and perennials from cuttings and tissue culture. We were amongst the first of the UK propagators to go 100% peat free an endeavour that further enhances the sustainability of the URBAFLORA® range.
